How It Gets Done HOME

Promoting Science Based Wildlife Management Decisions for a Better Massachusetts

Three minutes is not a lot of time, so driving home your point quickly, important.  To avoid losing focus or your train of thought, write down a few things you want to focus on about the bill.  Hitting the highlights using bullets is helpful.  Speak briefliy about a situation or situations you experienced where the existing law has caused problems.  Talk about the fact that the current "health and saftey" permit requirements are a band-aide solution to that puts the managment of wildlife in reactive emergency scenarios.  However you decide to get your message across summing up by restating that a modification to the trapping law is need.  Think about it ahead of time, write it down and hit the bullet points.  Check out our "Write an email" page to help you organize your thoughts.
